Hey bengals fans I have a fantasy question for ya

CJ Spiller has been disappointing, but my friend (a Bills fan) has offered me Bernard straight up for Spiller.

I'm very tempted to do it, just because I'm tired of being let down by Spiller.

So my question is; what do you guys think about Bernard's prospects going forward. Is he going to be getting the bulk of the touches as the season progresses, what about goal line carries, etc.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

What you've seen the last few weeks is probably what you're going to get the rest of the year. 10-15 touches per game, and if he doesn't score a touchdown then he's probably getting you 7 points.

The Bengals aren't necessarily scared of getting him beat up - they just don't want to phase Green-Ellis out completely.

I'd probably do the trade, FWIW. Even if Spiller shows up healthy, Jackson isn't going away given what he's doing this year. Bernard has shown he can produce in a timeshare, and he's healthy.

I'd probably do it if I was you, but I think Spiller's and Bernard's values are extremely close. Fred Jackson isn't going away, and neither is BJGE. However, the Bengals have shown they're not afraid to give Bernard touches inside the 5, and the Bills seem to be reluctant to give the ball to anyone but Jackson inside the 5. That's what pushes Gio over Spiller for me.

It's a fair offer and I could see either side of it. I personally think Gio's touches are only going to increase as the season goes on. He's clearly the better back between him and BJGE.
