I read on the Chiefs forum that QB's have a 9.8 passer rating when throwing to Cooper....good for best in the league.
If he keeps this up he's going to be a mild-mannered version of Richard Sherman....this has to be baalkes biggest regret, if cooper keeps this up. |

He's allowed just 3 catches in nearly 100 snaps played. Currently the best ratio in the league.
QB's and OC's have been going at him so far too, since he's the rookie. In an interview he had with a KC media guy when asked about his INT he said he saw what formation they were running and knew they were going to go to his WR so basically he just made the play. It's just hard for me to believe that this man is a rookie who just recently converted to the CB position. He's played terrific so far and this Flowers playing nickel thing may become permanent just so we can get Cooper on the field. Flowers is also a scary man to think about working from the nickel. He can do a lot of good things, so it's not too bad that Coopers talent forces us to move him to nickel for the time being. It's a good problem to have. _________________ Sigbet with El Ramster; OKC wins title = I win. IND wins title = he wins. |

He's good and I didn't like when we released him. Cuzz he had potential and we were in need.
But he's not that good. He will not stay playing at this level and I'm pretty sure of that. _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

Secondary Coach for the Chiefs? Al Harris... doing work. Marcus Cooper reminding me of Chris Culliver out there. I think he will keep his level of play up. May have a rough game or moments of suck here and there as he learns... but overall, very good play. _________________

Fangio said Nnamdi could be inactive on game days from now on with Brock starting at nickel. |
And there you go, I think only matter of time before they cut Nnamdi once Wright gets activated. _________________

i like nnamdi and was excited about the signing.
his play was okay but his tackling was terrible. i dont see brock giving up his spot now.
sucks how we have like nobody under contract at corner next year _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

rogers is, and he's having a beastly year. but he could be too expensive.
i think we'll also hold onto perrish cox (rfa- we can retain his rights for 1 more year) and daryl morris to at least compete. we'll be getting chris culliver back. use a pick in the 1st-3rd rounds on a CB (we'll have 5-6 in the first 3 rounds).
we'll have to choose between brock and brown, which CB to re-sign. or maybe neither. but we'll have options. and our secondary has been great this year.
i think aso could be the odd man out, when eric wright comes into the lineup. |

i think we cut rogers unless he agrees to a paycut which i would be okay with
i think brown and brock both walk though
i wouldnt mind a lineup of cully rogers wright rookie morriss
i thought rogers was for sure gone, but hes played pretty good. if he takes a pay cut, which i now think he will.... secondary will still be looking pretty good
then theres whitner. i also thought he was gone, but i think teams know his struggles now and we would be able to keep him on the cheap. hes basically pollard- same skill set, leadership, age and he got 1 yr 2 mill
would have been nice to have reid and matheiu though! set for years _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

i knew there was no way he could keep it up
pryor playing very good. i remember when we threw around the idea of trading a third for him to backup kap. would have been nice

Cooper with great coverage on that play.
Of course he wasn't going to keep up his GREAT play, but only the true elites could do that. However, he is a rookie and will get only better from here on out.
Cooper just had picture perfect coverage on Ford on that deep pass. _________________

Wow!!!! Cooper ices the game in consecutive games. So regardless of how he was beat in the first half, he finished with 4 PDs and the game clinching INT. BIG TIME potential! _________________
