Our secondary is not only a mess, but they're gonna be extremely thin and banged up for this contest....

Finnegan - hammy (doubtful to play)
McDonald - broken leg (out)
McLeod - exited last week early
Tru Johnson - illness (questionable)
McGee - hammy (questionable)

The D-Line better show up big, or Blackmon and Shorts could have huge days...

Considering this, the fact that Blackmon is very talented, and the fact that the Rams idiot defensive coaches have no game film of him this year, I have a bad feeling Justin Blackmon is going to torch us tomorrow.
I'm starting him in fantasy Embarassed

Everything that is truly bad that has happened this season has stemmed from the small things. I really hope to see us play a game in which the small things are what shine true.

I realize our team is young and has a lot of growing to do. But to watch our team get blown out because the fundamentals are off is just wrong. Sure up the fundamentals in every aspect of the game and we give ourselves a chance to win.

I'd like to see us take this game with fundamentals as our mainstay. Even if there is no blow out involved. I would just really like to see our team play fundamental football and let the big stuff come from building off of the small stuff.

The competition featured in that highlight reel renders it irrelevant.

That said, that film did show that Pead ran with a considerably different posture and determination as a Bear Cat. I've been one of his biggest critics, but I've always said that the problem is purely in between his ears. He could play in this league, talent wise.

Quote:
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed Sunday that the Rams will start Zac Stacy at tailback against the Jaguars.
Stacy may lose change-of-pace carries to Daryl Richardson and/or Isaiah Pead, but he's going to get the first opportunity to demonstrate a "hot hand" versus Jacksonville's beatable run defense. The Jaguars are allowing 5.21 yards per carry -- the fourth largest average in football -- and have silver plattered a league-high nine 20-plus-yard running plays. Stacy is a high-ceiling, if admittedly risky flex option in this favorable matchup.

Rotoworld

Looks like we'll see Stacy!

I see the Rams winning this game the same way as they did against the Cards - sack the QB into next week and it doesn't matter who they have at WR.

The Jags allowing are averaging 4 sacks allowed a game and that was before they shipped Monroe out of town. On another note glad to see we weren't the only ones who whiffed on drafting an OT in that draft.

As for the offense if they can't generate a running game against a team ranked dead last in rushing yards allowed then it really will be a looonnngg season.

As my buddy put it - if the Rams drop this one they should apply for membership in the CFL.

I could see Chris long getting on track in this game. Not sure who will be across from him but it wont be joekel who is going to have to face quin. We need a big performance from our d line today with our banged up secondary that wasn't great to begin
