No Patrick Willis, no Aldon Smith, no running game, no run defense. This team is a joke! No heart..... Getting gashed on every other play. Third and 12, and they throw the ball 4 yards. All the stats in garbage time. It's the Linehan era all over again. Weak! I hope they trade up in the draft again for a guy who doesn't see the field. Oh yea, get a turnover and go three and out. Awesome team.

I've read this board for a while, thought I'd give my two cents.

The team plays such a vanilla style, it's embarrassing. I remember them playing like this in the preseason and everyone said not to panic, they were just getting into the swing of things. They said to look out for Austin because the Rams were't showing everything from him. We're a quarter way through the season, all Austin does is run 2 yard routes, the defense gives 10 yard cushions and Bradford takes no shots down the field. I'm sure all Rams fans share my frustration in the penalties too. This is something that has gone on for a decade now, I figured with a veteran head coach like Fisher it would stop, but the amount of stupid penalties this teams takes, especially on special teams where it forces them to start inside their own 10, is a disgrace.

Offensively, I like Bradford, and believe the trio of Givens-Cook-Austin should be able to wreck havoc in this league. Their speed alone should be a nightmare for other teams, but they haven't got the opportunity. It's partially on Bradford, I think he sometimes plays to not make the mistake, but the play calling of Schottenheimer is simply not good enough. Open it up, man.
D-Rich does not have what it takes to be getting as many touches as he has. Give Pead a chance. People may not like him but we haven't see enough of him. Through 4 weeks our run game has done nothing. He's actually looked pretty good with the ball. Time to switch things up.

Defensively, they need to be more aggressive and start forcing some turnovers. It seems like being so young at safety has kept them from playing like they did last season. Ogletree made a play tonight, Quinn's been doing it and now it's time for Jenkins, Finnegan, Long and JL to step up. Would be nice to have Dunbar back, felt he was our best defensive player last year.

How Austin Pettis is still playing football is beyond me.

Cortland Finnegan. I hate you now. How can you go from being a top 15 CB to a bottom 15 CB. I just don't understand it.

I hope both aren't with the team coming next year.

Pettis did well last night, at least until I shut the game off at 21-3.

For all of us (myself included) complaining about Pettis being a starting wide receiver through preseason/training camp, he at least looks like he has a pulse out there. I'm not sure if it was He or Bradford that messed up that early potential TD- but he has been making some 3rd down grabs for us.

He isn't good by any means, but below-average is enough to make yourself stand out on this team.

Pettis has become a version of a "very poor" Brandon Gibson.

Gibson's inconsistencies where his undoing in St. Louis. But when he was on, he was on.

Pettis will have 1 great catch every 3 games. besides that, he's incredibly inconsistent and so terribly average.

He's should be our 5th WR at this point honestly.

He must certainly won't be resigned when he contract is done this year. I can promise you that.

On offense, no running game and receivers not getting open ! Plus Bradford was anything but accurate.

On defense, its the same old thing. LB's chasing instead of filling and safetys missing tackles. Finnegan was getting lit up !

Special teams cant avoid stupid penaltys.

Otherwise they look pretty good Embarassed
