I am sifting thru the net on any info from the Saints rookie camp. If you guys have any inside info please post.
All I found was that Brown made a good showing and Fincher sounds like he might have stole the show. Oh .... and of course Lyman with a knee injury. Didn't see that coming!!!!!
IMO if a standout WR,(#1 on the team) is undrafted and comes down to tryout for the Saints because he knows Fincher will be there to motivate him, I think we got another steal in the third round. Haslett has even been quoted as acknowledging his leadership abilities.

Here's a good read on Jammal Brown: http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/posting.php?mode=reply&t=15055&sid=8cc1fd2d859418d494d9806f43c788a0

The more I look at this draft, the more I like it.
#1 Tackle - definate starter
Top 3 Safety - #1 as a pure free safety
Top 5 ILB - only one I see with no injury history.
Lyman was a gamble.
#1 QB in skills. gamble, but worth the risk.
Top 10 DT/NT size and strength to make it in the NFL.
I thought we needed two starters on defense to make this draft good, but think this draft might be better than I could imagine.

This draft class, after reviewing, makes me excited about next year. The main thing i'm looking forward to is the play of the right side of the O-line with newly added Jermane Mayberry and Jammal Brown. IMO, i think they can be dominant on the right side. I hope Haslett puts Fincher at MLB and Watson at SLB, i think Fincher is better suited to play in the middle. One of Fincher's strengths is shedding blocks, which is Watson's weakness. I hope they realize this in training camp and make the switch.
