2. Need to make sure he has no more 0 sack games. I think there is a chance of multiple sack games, but honestly you can't count on those.

Doug Free probably held the man 10x at least when we played them. Tyron Smith held Hali about 3-4x as well (blatantly).

God you chiefs fans are delusional. Look who he has gone up against. 2 rookie tackles and Doug Free. Let's see what happens when he goes up against top RTs like Don Barclay.

Laughing

I know you're not serious, but imagining Barclay against Houston still makes me laugh.

Quote:
Those who have been paying attention to Houston and the Chiefs over the past two seasons would know that Houstonís career is off to an impressive start. He started 26 games over his first two seasons, compiled 15.5 sacks and 122 total tackles, and was ranked as the fourth-best 3-4 outside linebacker in the NFL in 2012 by Pro Football Focus (subscription required).

Quote:
Houston leads the NFL through three weeks with a whopping 7.5 sacks. For good measure, no one else in the NFL has five or more sacks through the first three weeks. Unsurprisingly, he has the highest Pro Football Focus rating of any 3-4 outside linebacker thus far.

Quote:
It may be a stretch to call Houston the next Derrick Thomas in Kansas City, but like the late Thomas, Houston is an explosive, well-rounded pass-rusher who can get to the quarterback in a variety of ways

Houston with yet another DPOTW, will he get another against the Giants?

Real question is, who will end the year with more player of the week awards, Justin Houston or Peyton Manning?

Fun bit from sbnation's article on the players of the week:

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/9/25/4770020/nfl-week-3-players-of-the-week-peyton-manning-justin-houston

Quote:
Meanwhile, Justin Houston is on pace for 40 sacks. It's important to clarify that it's the player Houston and not the team. Justin has more sacks this year than the Houston Texans do.

Justin Houston has more sacks than 15 NFL Franchises. San Francisco, Atlanta, Green Bay, St. Louis, New England, Seattle, San Diego, Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Detroit, Arizona, Chicago, Minnesota, New York (Giants), Pittsburgh.

Still remembering when Hali led the team with 7.
