I have tried to be patient but after what the Rams showed Sunday, something needs to change.

This is Bradford's first year with actual competent receivers, the only thing is a lot of them are rookie or still trying to establish themselves in the league. If the Rams trading whatever for Gordon means more big plays and a reliable receiver for Bradford to throw then I am for it.

I really hope the Rams don't sit on their hands on this one, we don't have a shortage of picks or anything. Gordon can help now, next years draft pick won't until next year. If Quick develops then they could trade a receiver for a pick.

Screw Quick, he gives us nothing. Josh Gordon is a legit #1 WR in this league, we need someone like him desperately. I get he comes with a lot of baggage, but we need to take a risk. Gordon would be great with complimentary pieces like Austin, Givens and Cook. A #1 WR is still a huge need and Gordon fills that.

I am in agreement for the most part at this point. Gordon helps now and helps elevate Bradford, our QB can't throw and catch the ball. Getting Gordon doesn't necessarily mean they abandon him. He can still develop, look at all the receivers GB had at one time the last few years. Gordon could take the pressure off of developing Quick and buy him more time to learn the game.

If the Browns don't want Gordon, then I don't want him.

I've seen his talent compared to the likes of Andre Johnson, and I agree, I just don't like the character concerns.

Yeah, if the browns are trying to trade what talent they do have. There is probably a good reason for that.

New staff wants "their guys", every coach does the same thing. There is a risk trading for him, but there is a high reward also. Dude is a legit #1 WR that is cost controlled.

I'd trade Quick and a 2nd for him.

I'm still yet to see a link or quote that even claims this is a real rumor, let alone a fact. If they were trying to trade him, there would be plenty of takers.

He's one DUI away from getting a year suspension. So no there wouldn't be.

I hear asking price is too high for a guy that could miss an entire season if he screws up again, and, history suggests he will.

And honestly, him running 5 yard drag routes across the middle any better then the guys we have doing it now? I'd rather Austin was getting those catches

That would certainly limit the amount of interested teams, but our own coach has shown that past mishaps are not a concern of every front office. Throw in the fact that he is cheap, and I see a gamble that could be worth it.
