How long do you think he last? I think he's a guy, like Pettigrew, who will be out of the league less than a year departed from Detroit (sorry DrRay).

Ha. I can't be the only one who liked him! We shall see, hopefully he can at least get some PT.

He's definitely a player. Sucks we lose him but we still have Bentley and Jonte on our 53. Rolling Eyes

Meh, all three are, and probably will always be practice squad caliber profootball players.

Bentley is good at certain things... namely, in plays that don't develop for more than 2 or 3 seconds. He doesn't have the speed or height to play deep.

Green has the size, but can't turn his hips well.

Greenwood can do everything both guys can, is more of a Slay type with added height, from what I've seen. Granted, we didn't get much of an opportunity to watch him. It's too bad we never will in a Lions uni.

Still hope they one day decide Green is more of a safety, which he looks to me.

Confused Dallas will probably coach him up like your supposed to and probably be a gem.
The drop off the bentley to greenwood can not be much at all. They will throw away 4th andlater picks but boy they sure do hold on to them top 3 picks. Imo he still has more potential then green or bentley. His timing didn't go well with the injuries to really get a solid chance.

Someone said green should be a saftey. I think it should be bentley. He'd have to add weight probably tho. He has a quick step...I could see him picking some balls from saftey.

Will have the option of getting him back after he is cut!

Chris Greenwood is no different than Tahir Whitehead, Travis Lewis, Dwight Bentley, Jonte Green, Ronnell Lewis, Titus Young, Mikel LeShoure, Douglas Hogue, Johnny Culbreath, Jahvid Best, Amari Spievey, Jason Fox, and Tim Toone.

Draft selections that are non contributors!

Have to give credit to Meyhew though for hiring Brian Zanders because, this years draft was real good.

I hope he does well. If he can get the reps and learn the game from a competent coaching staff, I think he will be a solid CB. 80% of being a good CB is being a great athlete and he has that.

A young, talented player who didn't develop immediately at a difficult position? Clearly garbage.

Wouldn't be shocked, but I don't care one way or the other.

After a three-week stint on the Dallas Cowboys' active roster, the Detroit native will re-sign with Detroit Lions practice squad, according to agent Chris Cabott.

I like bringing him back. PS doesnt hurt anyone and maybe if he can stay healthy next year during offseason workouts and camp he might be able to make the roster. He has so much talent, just needs his head to catch up I think.
