I don't know about adding another WR. I would prefer signing another boundary CB for the Jason Allen / Alan Ball role or another kicker for extra competition for Bullock.

Allen is a FA, no? Why not Zoidberg? Wink

Ya, when he was released, I said I wouldn't be shocked if he was brought back.

A few fixes:

It's Quessenberry. I'd slot him as #2 LG in addition to LT (swing tackle).

Griffin has to be slotted in as #3 TE over practice squaders (based on pick, not talent).

I believe McClain is more of a DT/NT.

Swearinger has to be a SS.

I'd add KR & PR to specialists if for no other reason than to have the stupid Alan Bonner pick make any sense.
PR - Martin, Bonner, Keo
KR - Martin, Bonner, Manning

Going to be interesting to see how LB plays out. I can see Braman moving inside and Reed likely rotating inside plenty. I think Reed/Travardo & Mercilus are OLBs on passing downs and Reed & Montgomery OLB on running downs. We ought to just call it "front 7" and be done with it as it's pretty much going to be different on every play.

Ya Lopez and Wright brought this up this morning on in the loop. No matter if we move Brooks inside or keep him outside, we're going to be thin in the LB corps. And will be counting on the quick development of 2 mid round picks.

A couple things, 1. I know Karim could possibly be just a camp body, but if he makes the team as the #3/4 RB does that mean he's full time KR? Anyone know I'd he returned punts for Indy. Also with theory injury I think this signals the end of Martin returning kicks, so he can hopefully take a leap this season. Secondly Queesenberry play G this weekend during the rookie mini camp, could we be possibly moving him inside?

Karim was the one who returned that kick for a TD vs the Texans in Indy.

Didnt Queesenberry play G in college or was he the one who played all over the line? Either way, this may be Wade Smith's last season.

As for Martin, i do get the sense they are trying to upgrade kickoff returns with settling for a punt returner who just at the least wont fumble.

Ya, I think we all remember that KR, I was wondering if he returned punts also, but with all the penalties we occur on ST plays we might as well stick Martin back there to fair catch.

I believe Quees plat strictly OT in SJST, but he played some guard in the Sr Bowl, and his measurables are very comparable to Wade's. He just needs to add some strength and bulk to his 305 body, which shouldn't be hard coming from a smaller school to an NFL strength and conditioning program.

Also the texans website post this article on Bullock. He just finished a degree in Petroleum Engineering from aTm and has a clean bill of health.

So Quees has officially been moved to IR, which saves us from cutting someone.
