7-7 Tie? Now it will be determined by a tie breaker. It's getting old securing a #1/#2 seed over 6 months only to watch a fluke win here or there over a two week span take the Championship. Yes sour grapes, I know. Congrats to whomever won the Tie-breaker.

Desmond stole 2 bases putting me up in that category, tying us 7-7. As I understand, tiebreaker goes regular season winning percentage against that opponent. We played twice. First game I won 7-6-1. Second game Hockey won 7-6-1. Tying us again 13-13-2. Next tiebreaker is playoff seeding, I believe. I'm 5, he's 6. Does that make me the victor?

Either way, holy crap.

Yea, thats what I got from looking it up last night too. I wish there was a better way to decide a 24 week long fantasy season than "you had the higher seed so you win the championship" but congrats either way for your first one, you were almost rivaling the 90s Bills there.

It wouldn't be a forum competition if Nabbs didn't cry about not winning it, I suppose. With that said, there's nothing flukey about my fantasy prowess. I've been in this league for 3 years. I was the #1 seed once, been in the championship game every year and won it twice. That's what we call the opposite of fluke. That's winning continuity right there, buddy. This is why we have playoffs. What's the point of crowning a regular season champ? The regular season trials down the best teams and then we go at it. What competition members would question a playoff? I guess the guys that lose. lol

Everyone knows baseball is a game of streaks. My pitching was solid throughout and was my catalyst the whole season. It was always steady and good. My offense was reliable but never elite. But I was ever weak anywhere. I would never pound to victory but was always able to compete. That has a lot to do with Braun. He didn't perform spectacular at any real part of the season. And once he got suspended I traded him for a guy that never got on the field. All this fluke talk or hot streaks this and that. I bet if any of you guys took your best offensive player off of your team, you'd be screwed. Take a Trout or Cabrera or Cutch or Tulo out of your lineup and try to grind out some wins. To me, this was one of the more impressive fantasy seasons for me.

Anyway, the leagues I compete in on FF are the only ones I do anymore. I got real tired of doing money leagues and the time it takes away from more important things. I don't take them very serious but when I sign up for something I like to see it through. I love the competition and playing with you guys. It's fun playing with the guys who are really knowledgable and active and are as competitive as me. So, thanks for playing this year fellas. It was fun. Looking forward to defending my title. And always, thanks 27 for running it.

-your 2 time champ, Jroc

Jroc with the great victory statement. Congrats man. This was a great fantasy baseball season.

I doubt we have to replace too many players for next year due to inactivity.

I feel like we should have a sponsor/name for the championship of this league. Laughing

Speaking of the Baseball league. Please drop me from that, sorry but I just don't have the attention span for that.

Didn't want this to get lost in the fantasy football thread.

It's a pain in the ....... and doing it again for Baseball 14'. Let me know if you have any suggestions, Thanks

Nabbs I saw the message and meant to respond to it but I completely forgot. Sorry about that. But I have an iPhone so I can't really offer much help in terms of the Android devices.

Excited for this to start back up.

Yeah, I've got an iphone too.

As far as I know there is only 1 opening, but I haven't sent out PM's or anything yet. I just restarted the league early to see the player rankings. Laughing

you guys are just lucky I dont care about fantasy or else I would win every year.

but it is just nerdy and I can't bring myself to actually waste time out my day to do it.

Would rather be a dungeon master in a riveting dungeons and dragons game. That is probably less nerdy.

Sorry Nabbsy, another iPhone here.

Also looking to move one of my pitchers for a power bat.

(Waino, Lee, Price, Sale, Weaver available)

Do you have any interest in Ryan Zimmerman? I could move the rights to him for a draft pick.

Besides that, I don't think there are any power bats on my roster I would be willing to move.

Chris Davis, Hanley Ramirez, and Mike Trout are all keepers for sure on my roster. And I'm guessing those are the hitters you would be interested in the most.
