Why?

Specifically today? Because of his opinion that the kids that trashed Brian Holloway's home don't deserve to be punished. In general? Because he's a horrible human being.

Those kids should be lucky he isn't suing them. Holloway's home insurance is probably covering the cost but I hope the insurance goes after those kids and their families.

Y'know, they still recovered it, but it looked like a pretty dumb move to me for 94 (is it a 9?) to go for the football instead of taking 3 out and letting 11 have the wide open recovery

Ill give it a shot. As good as FF14 looks, not sure I want to shell out the 30 bucks plus the monthly fee

I wouldn't recommend any Trion Worlds game, given the dire straits the company is in. FF14 is a lot of fun, it's definitely worth 12 bucks a month. Very casual friendly, but with real endgame content.

What are your thoughts on Guild Wars 2? The monthly subscription bothers me because my expenses and my work hours are extremely erratic

Guild Wars 2 was fun at release for about a week or two. Then you beat the story, hit level cap, and realize that end game is just a massive, laggy zerg.

FF14 looks so sleek I almost want to splurge. Im gonna try rift, and see if I can convince my buddy to play FF too

Maybe I've just grown out of my old MMORPG days, but I tried FF14 ARR in the beta tests, and it was incredibly boring. It looked pretty and shiny, but I couldn't get past the incredibly dated combat system/quest system.

Great play and technique from that Punter, that would be difficult to pull off with an American football.

How does it compare to WoW? I played that on and off since its release so Im pretty comfy with that combat system

Pretty similar. The global cooldown on skills is definitely a throwback compared to modern, twitchy games, but I like it.

I haven't played much of Wow, but I reckon it's pretty similar; boring. Laughing

I played goalkeeper growing up. For this, I always punted the ball in pickup football games.

I wish I still played, but alas, I do not.

Bernard Pierce or Frank Gore for tomorrow? Obviously Gore has the better matchup but he's largely done nothing thus far. Small sample size, I know, but Pierce will be featured probably just as much as Gore

I don't expect impartial advice from my bitter rivals on the FF league - just looking for thoughts: I have Starks, Reggie Wayne and Deangelo Williams fighting for 2 places.

Starks is going against a good run D in Cinci.
Wayne is going against a very D in SF.
Williams just generally sucks.

I would roll with Gore there. Don't trust the Raven's O at all. But then again Pierce might catch a lot of dump offs...yeah go with Gore. Maybe.

I dunno...sorry for the useless advice Laughing

I find myself highly irritated by how Dobson speaks to the media.
