Quote:
The New England Patriots worked out former Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills wide receiver David Nelson, according to a league source.

The Patriots also worked out former Tampa Bay Bucccaneers third-round cornerback Myron Lewis, who last played for the Detroit Lions. Lewis played in 29 games with one start in Tampa Bay, recording 17 tackles and four pass deflections.

The Patriots also tried out defensive backs Jalil Brown, DeQuan Menzie and Peyton Thompson and wide receivers Jared Green, the son of Washington Redskins Hall of Fame cornerback Darrell Green, Sam McGuffie and Terrence Toliver.

Nelson would only be good if Jules and Amendola are both out.
