I guess we see what Richardson is made of now. He won't be hampered by a horrible offence. That being said there is still lots to be desired about our run blocking...
I'm stoked! Lets make the playoffs now _________________

I envy you guys right now.
Whether Browns fans think this was a good trade for them or not, your front office made a bold move that should pay off.
If the Colts play to the level they're capable of playing, the earliest they will possibly draft is 17th. Trent was drafted 3rd overall in 2012, and he's only 23 years old. I ask this: who wouldn't draft Trent Richardson with the 17th pick or later? Basically no one.
Bravo guys. You now have 2 of the top building blocks in the NFL in Andrew Luck and Trent Richardson. |

Only if that was how the value of trades worked.
Bad trade for IND. |
Bad trade? You guys should have a pick somewhere in the 15-25 range, the chances of getting a player as good as Richardson there are low. This looks like a great trade. |
Richardson is nothing more than an average RB at this point. You can find plenty of those after picks #15-25. Just have to be good at drafting. _________________ Sigbet with El Ramster; OKC wins title = I win. IND wins title = he wins. |

WOW. This is a huge trade for you guys and as a Raider fan I am jealous. You have the best young QB in football and I would venture to say the best young RB in football. Trent was hampered by being on a team that had one of the worst QB's in the game to one of the best. It will be a huge boost not having 8 in the box the whole game and the world will finally get to see what Richardson is all about. As a fantasy player this is a huge move as Trent is my keeper and I will venture to say that he will now be a top 3 RB off the board next season. He will tear it up in Indy with Luck protecting as his QB. Huge move guys and now you are well on your way to having on of the most prolific O's in football. _________________

Nothing but a smile came to my face when the breaking news hit the phone.
This is awesome
Wonder how much time he sees Sunday vs SF
Grigson has stones
I agree with one of the previous posters, the Colts have 2 of the top building blocks in the NFL right now. _________________

As a Bama fan, thank you for rescuing Trent from the quagmire known as Cleveland. Looking fwd to seeing your offense tear up the South. _________________

The one thing I trust they'll do is try to get him operating in space. Scary thought, considering how incredibly hard he is to bring down. |

Congrats, guys. Monster move by an underrated organization. Great fit for Indi's offense and it builds around Andrew Luck. _________________

anyways, I did a break down of all 18 carries of his last week b/c some of the Browns fans started questioning if he was a bust or not. He has a bad tendency to studder step at the LOS instead of plowing his way forward and using his strength and momentum.

Its a lot of reading, but I'm sure you guys would enjoy it! |
First off, this was really well done. Nice job breaking those plays down.
This really stood out to me:
Quote: | By my count, 69% of Richardson's yards came AFTER contact. I'd call that a ridiculous number and say that we have nothing to be worried about. |
That sounds about what you expect for Richardson, and really seems to indicate an issue with the line and/or lack of passing game than Richardson. I mean, the furthest he got before being hit the entire game was 4 yards past the LoS, and that was one time.
Hopefully our passing attack will alleviate some of those issues. While some are discouraged by his "lack of production," I'm just excited to have the most talented and well-balanced RB we've had on the roster since Edge's early days. Can he do what Edge did in 99,00? Not sure, but if he can even hit 1,000 yards, it would be the first time we've had that since 2007. |

Really great move for Indy. T.Rich should add another element to your team. It will only help A.Luck get better with a solid run game. The thought of him getting better is scary for all the other teams. _________________ AMERICA'S TEAM and 5x SB CHAMPIONS = DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!!

I like Bama too, theyre beast. Always have great talent/ and coaching
I was hoping they would make a move for Mark Ingram, Richardson, while a thought, was a pipe dream.
Go big or go home, thats Grigson philosophy. I love it
Best part of this is, in the FF Madden PS3 fantasy draft, I have Trent Richardson for the Colts.
well second best thing I guess _________________

Browns fan here.
I can see it as a good move for both teams. We need a QB in the worst way, and hopefully we have the ammo to get one next year (assuming there is a a top level guy to get).
And not like Trich was playing studly at all. He is young and talented, and fills a position you guys badly needed, so.................good for both.
Lot of Browns fans wont like it, but we were gonna suck this year with or without him. _________________ 3/18/17 predictions:
Jimmy G stays with New England this year.
We draft Garrett at #1 (out on a limb there).
We trade back from 12 for another 2018 1st.
We do NOT draft a QB in the first 2 rounds. |

you guys gave up too much for him. the browns obviously knew he was turning into a bust, and wanted to unload him before the 'bust' title became consensus with the fans. |
