I think Cunningham has a slim, outside chance.

Do you believe Mcnabb does?

Yeah, but again, slim, outside chance. Not having a ring really sucks for most of these guys.

3 INTs and one puke in the Superbowl loss won't help him either.

5 Less NFCCG and 1 less SB appearance then all but secures Cunningahm never making it then. Maybe the voters will realize Mcnabb and the eagles only lost do to Spy Gate and give him that pass. Wink

Patriots last played the Eagles in week 3 of the 2003 season before that SB, it's their fault if they didn't change their calls for that long period of time.

#BlameAndy

But really, that whole thing is so overrated, you can see signals from the game regular camera or pictures from the sidelines, the only thing the Pats did was recording it from an illegal angle

Yeah we were spied on so doesn't matter.

Just saying. Cool

3 SB Wins -Pre Spy Gate by 3 points
2SB losses -Post Spy gate by 3/4 points

Say what you will about being "overrated" Billy but if it didn't have an effect the NFL wouldn't have conviently destroyed the evidence before the public could see what was on the tapes. They had to protect the shield at all cost and deminishing and destroying a 3x SB Champs repuation was never going to happen.

Not going to make this into spygate talk Laughing

But i have to say this...anyone who doesn't have some kind personal attachment to the situation [aka wants to find a reason to why his team lost] can clearly see that normal tv cameras and people from the stands can "record" those signals, that's why NFL teams change them so often, the issue was the angle of the cameras from the Pats, which in my opinion people blew up too much.

Back to 2013 though Laughing

Absolutely, no reason to talk about an overrated incident that head coaches of half the league's teams admitted afterwards they also did and nowdays every fan can do the same from his phone [and some probably do]

Back to Eagles HOF discussion Cool

- Vermeil and Otho Davis.

Allen and Vincent have an outside chance, too.

6-time All-Pro, SB champion and SB MVP vs 2-time All-Pro and no rings. Only difference between the two.

Those are mostly just votes.

Biletnikoff was All-Pro in 1969 and 1972.
1969 was before the merger.
Carmichael's 1973 was better than either year, but he was never an All-Pro.

Biletnikoff was in the Pro-Bowl 6 times, Carmichael 4.
Two of Biletnikoff's selections were before the merger.
Carmichael played without stick-um, too.

In 1981 Carmichael had 61 receptions equaling Biletnikoff's best total and 1,028 yards which is within nine yards of Biletnikoff's best.
He didn't even make the Pro Bowl.

Biletnikoff played with a better supporting cast, hence he went to Super Bowls.
The 1980 Eagles had 3 Pro-Bowler's which included 1 All-Pro.
The 1977 Raiders had 7 Pro-Bowler's which included 3 All-Pro's and 5 Hall-of-Famer's.
Carmichael clearly did more with less.

Plus, Biletnikoff's Super Bowl MVP was four catches for 79 yards and 0 TD's.
Meanwhile, Clarence Davis had 137 yards on 16 just carries.
Dave Casper also had four catches for 70 yards and a TD.
Even Sammy Davis of the Vikings had five catches for 77 yards and a TD.
No lie.
He was just about the least deserving MVP in Super Bowl history.
I should know, I saw the game.

Carmichael was every bit as good as Biletnikoff was if not better.
Carmichael should be in.

Why the Hall not?
