This freakin sucks. It totally doesn't help his surge and hot start to the season. I was hoping he would have all the opportunity to build upon Buffalo. _________________

Winning tuff close games while handling adversity will help this team a lot more than hammering them much like the last few years in the long run. Geno Smith is not coming into Foxboro on a short week and beating us unless we beat ourselves and after last week, I don't see that happening. Tuff physical game but a win 28-14 category. |

What's left?
Amendola - Looked fantastic. Maybe even better than Welker. Let's hope his "groin" is ok.
Edelman - Played well for the most part... He knows the system and is the only veteran receiver out there.
Thompkins - Looked more raw than a living cow. Not on the same page as Brady. Brady no like!
Boyce, Dobson, and Slater - All of these guys are apparently worse options right now than Thompkins, which is very scary...
So next week versus the Jets, they're going to wheel out Amendola, Edelman, Thompkins, Slater, and [Boyce/Dobson].
Is this supposed to strike fear?
Imagine facing the Ravens last year with this receiving corp. Imagine facing any half-way decent secondary that's not missing its best two players. Just play tight coverage on Amendola and Edelman and eliminate the short routes. BAM! You've shut down the passing game. Brady will throw to a clueless Thompkins for an incompletion/INT.
Couple these facts with Ridley turning the ball over a few times a game because there's no one else, and you got one of the worst offenses in Patriot history.

You're right, we should just forfeit to the Jets because we're gonna lose anyways and might as well not risk injuring anyone else. |
Implying that you were being sarcastic, no where did I imply that the Pats can't beat the Jets...
However bad the offense is, I expect the Jets' to be worse fortunately. |

I hope we get Gronk back by the Falcons game in week 4. I hope Ridley mans up while Vereen is out. |

Out at least 8 weeks now....ugh.
I really hope this doesn't turn into another Gronk type thing where he never fully recovers. I'm guessing thats why they put him on IR and not going to take any chances rushing him back. _________________

Won't see him back until Week 11. Pretty big blow to the offense. Hopefully we get Gronk back for that tough stretch of games coming up after TB. |

Any chance Brandon Bolden fills the Vereen role? |

He might get some reps in passing downs if his ankle is healthy. I'd much prefer him to Leon Washington or Legarrette Blount. _________________

Can I pick none of the three? _________________

Sure, but that leaves Ridley in that role and he isn't very useful in the pass game.
