#Patriots released former #Jets, #Seahawks RB Leon Washington.
yes plz

Hearing the #Jets claimed a third player on waivers, possibly an OLM. Would have to drop 3 players today to make room.

Don't like the Solomon pick up.

Why? We need some OLB depth with Coples out.
Have you watched him play?

He was a good player at Rice.
Tim Tebow was a good player at Florida.

There's a difference. Solomon flashed NFL talent, Tebow was just a great college player. I want to see how Solomon fits in a 3-4.

Per Cimini, we have cut Lansanah and Bell, and put Mauga on the IR. We have also claimed former Colt OT Ben Ijalana.

Lansanah looked really good. I don't like that decision. He out played the other ILB's imo.

I don't agree with the decision, but it's not like we were going to cut Harris, Davis, or Bellore instead.

Maybe we can add him to the PS. I'm not a huge fan of it either, but we needed to cut someone and we had a glut of ILBs. But, I would have rather seen someone like Campbell get cut.

I did some quick research on Ijalana, he has graded out very well this preseason at OT, but he has dealt with ACL injuries the last 2 seasons. He will be our new swing OT, I'm just worried about his knees.

Ya'll have some points, I really hope he makes it to the PS. I liked him more than Bellore & Mauga. Bellore isn't bad, I just think L can be a great fit in the middle.

I just double checked, Lansanah is good to go for the PS, as long as we have a full roster, which we do. I would hope we add him on there.

We placed Mauga on IR. I like Lansanah better than Bellore, but I don't think we would cut Bellore since he is so important to us on special teams.

Nice. I'll feel better once when he makes it to the PS. I assumed that Mauga was going to get cut. I wouldn't be shocked if he still get cut at some point during the season.

Well, he basically was. He's no longer on the 53-man roster.

He's on IR, so we are really only working with 3 ILBs. Bellore is basically special teams. Lansanah is someone who can rotate with Davis or Harris.

I expect him to see more time on defense than Bellore and Bellore will spend more time on special teams. He looked like a solid depth linebacker who can play 3-4 ILB,4-3 MLB and 4-3 WLB considering we run every formation under the sun I can see him contributing a lot on defense this year if we keep him.
