Pretty bad situation for the Jets cap wise though, Mark Sanchez is making $8.75 million to sit on the bench this season.

Sitting him does not make the contract any worse. It's not possible for that contract to be any worse.

It could be for $9 million.

I meant for us to receive even less value from the deal. But yes, that would be worse. Laughing

This seems pretty bad.

Quote:
Geno Smith said he doesn't "think it's necessary" to watch tape on Revis before he goes up against the Buccaneers on Sunday.

"I mean, I don't think it's necessary," Smith said. "Maybe I will, maybe I won't. You pretty much get the idea of what kind of player he is based on his reputation."

Why is that bad? The coaches are going to tell him to find him pre-snap and throw in the opposite direction.

Sounds like he has it in his head already that they're not going to target him at all.

And, I would say, that's quite good.

Either that, or he's not giving the media a straight answer, which I am also fine with.

I bet Rex and the players troll the media so hard and we won't ever know.

It's because he's injured indefinitely. They did the same thing with Holmes early in the preseason.
