the draft pick is conditional. ... #Jaguars didn't turn in their cuts until tonight even though they announced yesterday.

Holy crap, we could get a pick for this guy?! Probably won't, but the fact that we could get anything in return for the walking Injury Report is amazing. All hail Diamond Dave.

I looked for a picture of him during a game [even pre-season] but there was no one to be found on google images. [although i didn't look too deep]

I think he's only played in a few. He had a great motor and seemed to make a couple impact plays every time he actually played, but his impact plays were met with just as many injuries.

If he stayed healthy, i firmly believe he could give us 6 sacks a year which is pretty good for a DT, i want him to stay healthy and see what he can do

Yeah. All cuts were due yesterday. We named all our cuts (including D'Anthony) on Saturday, but didn't file the paperwork with the league until Sunday. Which means despite the fact that we said we were cutting Smith, he was still on our roster for a potential trade. Seattle must not have been confident that he would clear waivers.

Yea they have a real late claim and he probably wouldnt make it. He seems like after his injuries he still has some talent

It's not like it cost them a fortune to effectively jump the line anyway. An 'undisclosed' or 'conditional' pick, probably not a huge deal for a team like the Seahawks to give up. They've got enough depth it really doesn't hurt them much.
