Yes, but if he's drafted in a 43 he will definitely be a 3-tech.

So not a fit here? Could he and Floyd play together?

Not really, 6'6 is a little tall to be a 1-tech

I don't believe he's draft eligible until 2015, but we should pair AD with Todd Gurley in the backfield!

Really liked what I saw from Mosley on Saturday night.

He's very fast and physical. Looks like a great 4-3 OLB on either side but most teams would probably play him at WILL to utilize his excellent quickness and instincts in pursuit. Definitely a top 25 talent IMO.

I have no interested in a LB in the 1st-3rd rounds next year. Between Henderson, Bishop, Mitchell, Cole, Hodges and Mauti I think we can find two decent LB's.

We need a starting NT, probably 1-2 DE's, guard, maybe a CB and above all else a QB if Ponder doesn't step it up.

LB's really aren't that important and an upgrade over what we currently have is just a luxury.

Mosely would be a perfect fit as a WILL or a MIKE given his experience in the middle of Bama's defense, his quickness and his physicality. He reminds me of Jon Beason (probably not quite as fast) and would be a perfect 3 down guy for our D.

Outside of Greenway we really dont have a proven LB. Sure Henderson has been around and has played decent same as Bishop. Mitchell has been a career Special Teamer and Cole Hodges and Mauti are all unproven. If Mosley is BPA and none of the positions you mentioned are available i'm taking Mosley. Granted it is way too early to tell any of this....

Really? LBs aren't that important?

We run a Tampa-2 scheme so having good LBs is of paramount importance.

We don't really run a true tampa-2 scheme anymore, but in the scheme LB's outside of one who can make the deep middle drop, aren't as important as the front four, safeties, and corners who can jam and re-route receivers.

You're right, I should have said a linebacker is of paramount importance, but not necessarily all 3 of them. That being said, I am not confident we have a LB that can make the deep middle drop consistently. From what I've seen of Mosley, he's great at it.

MLB is still a crucial need for how we use the MLB in coverage. If Mosley looks to be a guy who can move inside into a 4-3, id be all over him in round one.

Mosley is listed at 232 on his college page, but I would guess that is somewhat outdated and with another year of college conditioning and training in preparation for the NFL, he will be closer to 240. Arthur Brown was always listed at 228 in college, but his true weight was 240+ when he showed up for NFL scouts.

And where is that and who? Please share. It would be of interest of the fan faithful to keep an eye on this coveted prospect.

There really is nothing special about Aaron Murray in terms of physical ability, but every time I watch him I am impressed. I have him rated as a second round guy right now and if Ponder flops I would definitely support getting Murray. Reminds me a bit of Drew Brees.
