EJ update
Head coach Doug Marrone provided an update on how EJ Manuel is making out now a couple of days removed from surgery. Hes still on crutches, but has already begun the rehab process.

that's a good sign, but still bothers me that no one has said exactly what the procedure is.

I believe he had his knee drained or something like that

i am a patriots fan but also a FSU Seminoles fan. EJ is a class kid and an excellent prospect. I hated to see that he got this injury, seemingly out of nowhere. I hope ht is bask soon, but I hope he is not rushed. Being a rookie QB is hard enough, but it is even harder when you miss preseason. I wish him well 14 games per season. Very Happy

It was bothering me why EJ's procedure was not known, and was being a little cynical on why it wasn't being said. Now I feel a whole lot better at him possibly starting week 1

E.J. Manuel's left knee procedure was to remove some looseness and floating in his meniscus.

It's among the most minor kind of knee surgeries an athlete can have. Meniscus repairs rarely leave lingering pain and players are able to return in a matter of weeks. Even if Manuel can't get back for Week 1, we'd expect him to get on the field by Week 2.

David Carr was cut, I wonder if we take a look at him. He would provide a veteran presence we desperately need at QB
