Yeah, Phillips is done. |

You know, the majority of fans had that same sort of reaction towards Stevie Brown last year. Just saying. |
True, so I guess Mundy could become our new Stevie Brown. Or he could become like CC. Brown and Aaron Rouse. Lets hope it's the former ...
Again would be nice to see if Cooper Taylor would get out there and start practicing. TC is known to not like rookies and it hurts even more when the guys are not even practicing to get reps. Maybe we can look at the waiver wire and see who we can get.
Maybe we can try and trade for a young safety that is buried in the depth chart so to speak. Reese has his work cut out for him. |

Sash doesn't have the physical ability to be an NFL starter. Not big or fast enough. I'm hoping the Giants pick somebody off waivers for the 4rth safety spot until Will Hill comes back. _________________

He has flashed against the 2nd and 3rd string defense against the colts. Was ok against the Jets. Hes basically an ok run stopper but isn't that great at pass-defense. He could improve but it says a lot that we would rather sign and start Ryan Mundy than go with a guy who has had a few years to learn our defense. Don't think we can expect much from Sash except from special teams.
Would be nice to see if Cooper can show something. |

Does anyone know if Kerry Rhodes had any offseason visits? is he past it? Only 31, not a bad option for a 1 year deal. Has experience with ny weather. |

That's the first person I thought of when Stevie went down. He had a good year last year I believe. |

I was reading a report that said he's been out with a quad injury that he claims is unrelated to his knees. If it's just his quad then he might be worth a shot for when he heals up. Honestly I know people call him injury prone but didn't he only miss a handful of games in the 3 years after his surgery? I remember hearing the reason he left the Giants was more to do with him not being happy with the organization than the organization being worried about his health. |

They def need to do something about preseason. It's getting ridiculous the amount of injuries. Maybe 2 games. Game 1 starters play a quarter. Game 2 a half. If coaches can't determine who's who depth wise between training and 1 and a quarter games it's there own problem. |

What they really need is more training camps TBH. There have been so many players with ligament/tendon issues this preseason because they haven't been working hard enough in the offseason to keep their joints in game shape. Or at least that's what I read recently and it made some sense to me. _________________

If he wasn't happy with the Giants then he is not coming back no matter what so its a moot point |

Probably true, but money talks. Doesn't look like there's a whole lot of other interested teams. |
