So basically the Chiefs doctor sorta screwed up the initial surgery? Wait until D@M gets a hold of this!
Laughing My first thought as well. Wait till Davey boy hears that some hick Chiefs doctor tried to put Sherrod's leg back together with a wire welder and a soldering gun and some chewing tobacco. And that's why we don't have our LT playing.

So the Milwaukee Journal article may not have the full details or a complete timeline but this is what I got from the article.

On Dec. 18, 2011 the Packers 2011 first-round draft choice suffers a horrific leg injury that requires emergency surgery to be conducted by an orthopedic surgeon that the Packer organization has no affiliation with. In November of 2012 the Packers notice that Sherrod is running with a limp and the injured leg is “shaking uncontrollably”. It then takes until February of 2013 before Dr. Robert Anderson conducts a second surgery to address the complications associated with the first surgery.

So who was overseeing the rehab and why did take them so long to identify the complication? When did the Packers medical staff first contact Dr. Robert Anderson given that the ankle complication seems to be a common “side effect” with this type of a break?

Seems like a lot of wasted time here.
