I haven't heard anything about Mcfadden and it kind of has me worried. Last year Dimitri Patterson got a lot of talk, so I just hope the Chris Owens talk doesn't have the same results.

Something interesting I saw:

Gil Brandt‏@Gil_Brandt
@Browns' refurbished practice facility is unbelievable, it's now one of the league's best

I remember years ago when Trevor Pryce called our facilities the worst in the league after his free agent visit. Nice to see the new regime already having a positive effect on player retention/recruitment.

You know, I am offended that you are thanking only the people who contribute. What about the readers who read daily that don't necessarily contribute. I demand fairness.

I love to hear positive reports as much as anyone, but I don't have much respect for Marshall Faulk (the analyst). Faulk the player was great, but rarely do I hear anything insightful from him as a reporter/analyst.

I believe he called Kellen Davis our starting tight end. That's called not doing your homework. Try a little harder, Marshall.

But in terms of Richardson, I hope he's right. Smile

Fan favorite Mike Lombardi took the podium yesterday.

Quote:
"I think (Weeden) clearly has proven in the off-season that he's gotten better at everything they've asked him to do. So, every day is about getting better and I think that's what a lot of players are doing.''

Lombardi declined to comment on Gordon's knee injury -- he's sat out the second straight practice with patellar tendinitis -- but has been happy with his progress in the system.

"Im excited to see Joshs development as a player,'' he said. "I think hes shown this off-season a great attitude and Im looking forward to being a part of that. I think hes got to demonstrate that (and) continue on. I think thats what he wants to do. He wants to be a good player.''

He also talked about Mingo, Alex Mack's contract, and a few other things.

He basically said nothing tbh

It was one of those interviews where I wanted to punch a baby.

Also, Gil Brandt thinks Mingo is special.

Steve Doerschuk @sdoerschukREP
Gil Brandt says Barkevious Mingo has one of most impressive size/athleticism ratios he has ever seen.

He's a Belichick disciple, so that will be SOP for him. He wouldn't want to give away super-sensitive important critical info. Think Mangini.

On the flip side, I find Banner to be quite straightforward. I've actually grown to enjoy watching him answer questions. I need professional help.

Also echoing Thomas' post, thanks for the daily updates guys its really helpful for us twitter noobs. Also loving how technology has made camp much more interesting. Between twitter and vine it almost feels like I'm in berea even though I'm sitting at a desk on the 25th floor in midtown manhattan.

If there are any Sirius/XM subscribers out there, Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan will be in Berea and talking about the Browns exclusively for a few hours today. I don't get to listen to them all the time, but when I do, I'm impressed. They're among the best national analysts out there.

If you get it, it's from 3-7 today.

Pat Kirwin is by far my favorite person to listen to when talking football. He's so good at explaining his points and usually gives you his points from a GM's perspective. His book is also an outstanding read for any football fan, I strongly recommend it. Would you mind posting some tidbits from there time at our camp? I'm stuck at work and away from my radio at the moment.
