Take it for what it is worth but Jaws is doing his QB count down and Palmer was ranked #23, ahead of Kolb, Vick, and others.

It is not hard to be a better QB than Kolb or Vick, I think 23rd is about right for Carson right now, but I expect Tannehill to go by him soon.

23 is about right

Really he was top 20 for career, then has had a little drop off.

I'll take CP over Freeman and Alex Smith.

I think I'd take him ahead of Smith

Just popping in to say hello Wink The cards are one of the teams I'll be watching closely this year.

Not trying to bring back an old thread, but I'm curious why Palmer gets such a bad wrap. He's better then he gets portrayed as, and with the help at O-line you signed as well as an improved WR corps (compared to his previous teams) he's going to open some eyes. I think the Cards are going to be one of the most improved teams this year. Not just because of Palmer, but because Arians and Co. are clogging holes you have all over the team. Some with stop gaps and some with quality players, some with risk/reward players. I'm a Raider fan and I've always enjoyed routing for the Niners too..... but I really like what your team is doing and think Arizona has a chance to surprise a lot of people this year. In my opinion, Palmer is going to improve your team more than many of you think. (From my limited view of browsing the forum here). Just my 2 cents. Good luck this year, I'll be routing for the Cards as a sleeper team.

Nick I hope you're right, righ now I think we are an 8-8 team which depresses me but its what we are. With Horton gone I just want to see Bowles' play calling ability, that's ultimately the biggest variable on this team. If we strike gold again, well you just might be right especially with the Abraham addition as well as Dansby. I think our offense will be good this year, I am a fan of Palmers. I watch all the Raiders games whenever the Cardinals aren't playing and I know what he's capable of and he couldn't have been paired with a better coach for his abilities. But with Horton gone this Defense isn't the same
