Or, if I had bothered to read...it could mean he has him as playing the 3-tech and not the 1-tech which is the position he had outlined.

At somepoint, second chances run out. You are the weakest link, goodbye.

Brent = FAIL!

Cowboys already announced he will remain with the team. Saw it on NFL Network tonight = DOUBLE FAIL!

That makes zero sense. He's already going to miss this season. Then there's the likely hood of him going to prison. I appreciate standing by a guy who is going through some very tough times, but in this case what does it accomplish. Nothing.

Inept thinking on FO. smh.

I don't understand. His contract was 4 years for 2mil with a 50k signing bonus. Is it really worth it to keep him on the roster to try to recoup some of the money? They can't really believe after 2 failed drug test, a dui, and killing a teammate accidentally that he would ever be able to play in the nfl. Even if they plead him out to a lesser offense, do you really want this guy on your team?

Went to high school with Bass (locker right next to mine actually). He's talented, just needs some game action to really take the next step.

I think he'll get it this year.

It really depends how we play the cover two. If the scheme is truly going to be ran similar to how seattle runs their cover two then they should both do very well. If it is ran more like the typical cover two then i can see them struggling a little more.

I would be more worried about carr, the typical cover two doesnt play to his strengths.

I think claiborne will thrive in this scheme either way once he grasps it fully.

I'm not worried about Carr at all. He seems like a really versatile, smart player. Unless we actually see him start to struggle on the field, I'm not going to doubt that he can't continue to be a good player in the new scheme.

I don't usually put myself in position to get some heat but oh well, in regards to the offensive line....you don't have to have the best guy at each position, you have to have the 5 right guys. Our chemistry was spoiled last offseason when we had injuries to, I believe, 3 of our starters before our first regular season game.(Costa, Kenzy, and Livings?). We just need whoever the starters are to develop good chemistry and trust with each other. We actually have a young line and give them more time and experience with Callahan.

Now our defensive line on the other hand...that need's fixing. Marinelli is our repair man. It also needs fixing because it's one of our oldest positions. Ware, Ratliff and Hatcher aren't getting any younger. We need to spend a 1st/2nd at the latest on a young stud DL.

Anyone see Leary and Frederick at guard, and Costa at center?

I don't want any part of Costa on this team. He's horrible.

It has been bandied about.

I'm actually thinking it's going to be Leary, Frederick, Bernadeau across the middle with Kowalski and Arkin behind them, with Costa traded to save us $2.25m in cap money over the next two years.
