Ugh, Geno. Why are you wasting your time not being at Sanchez's camp?

Why are you working with a WR better than any on the Jets roster?

Why are you working in a much harsher climate than California?

So incompetent.

I have mixed feelings about this to be honest, but it's good to see him training with a good WR. I would rather see him working with our WR's since that's who he is going to be throwing too. But it's not a huge deal imo. Maybe they've been friends before and Brown contacted him for a workout.

I don't think I've ever been this excited to see preseason before.

Jets West is a glorified slumber party.

It's a class thing for Mark to do for his teammates, but there is nothing going on there that Geno can't do in Miami. One could argue that he's not working out with his receivers etc, but that's what training camp is for when he and Mark are in an actual, real, Tebowless competition.

It's sort of funny that neither McElroy or Simms chose to attend either, but the media barely mentions that. It doesn't help the storyline along about Geno's attitude.

Good decision by Geno. Brown's one of the best route runners he could work with too.

Didn't feel like making another QB/Geno related thread for this.

He might be closer to being ready than most people think if this is true. I hope they don't try that package crap again.

Just make him the starter.

No one should be more aware of the pitfalls of rotating QB's than the Jets. It simply doesn't work.

You can replace Sanchez with Smith if Sanchez struggles. Make it a whole change, though. Don't just sub in a QB, make a whole change.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets are considering this as much for managing the home crowd as anything. They have to be thinking about what their plan will be if early in the year Sanchez has one of his disaster type games but they're not ready to put Geno in yet. Throwing him in for a series of plays might be a way of manipulating the crowd energy without having to make a permanent switch before the time is right.

What will that change of pace be? Going from crappy QB play to competent QB play?

Exactly just simplify the playbook early on but I gotta admit I want to see Sanchez vs New England

Same here. I think our best chance of beating the pats this season is the week 2 game, but it would be interesting to see how Sanchez responds after the whole butt fumble thing.
