How many receivers will be kept on the roster?

There are currently 11 wide receivers on the roster. 12 if you want to count Dorin Dickerson (listed as a WR on the Bills roster page).

Steve Johnson
Robert Woods (rookie)
Marquise Goodwin (rookie)
T. J. Graham
Brad Smith
Da'Rick Rogers (rookie)
Brandon Kaufman (rookie)
Marcus Easley
Chris Hogan
Kevin Elliot
DeMarco Sampson

I went with 6. We have to keep Da'Rick in my mind... and all the ones above him too.

Agreed. I like what I see in Kaufman but I dont see anyone else I would cut and I doubt we keep 7.

I went with 6. What I'd like to see:

Steve Johnson
Robert Woods
Da'Rick Rogers
Marquise Goodwin
T. J. Graham

And then either Brandon Kaufman or Marcus Easley. I see no reason to keep Smith on any longer.

I was just thinking about that. Perhaps Gailey just wasn't using him right? I'm interested to see what happens in training camp.

I considered that too, but then I looked at his stats. He only had 1 year (out of 5) with the Jets that was better than either year here. I just think he got really overhyped, and the Bills bought into it. I see him as nothing more than an average backup, and I'd hate to cut a guy like Rogers or Kaufman to keep Smith around.

I think a lot has to do with Chandlers injury on how many WR's we will keep. If he is not 100% healthy come week 1 then I could see us keeping 7 WR's, Two TE's and Dickerson as well. That gives us 10 receiving options in total which I think is a good amount. If we only keep 5 or 6 then i think it will be like this..

Woods
Graham
SJ13
Rodgers
Goodwin
Kaufman (maybe, definitely PS)

Smith and Easley cut.
