There are apparently 6 players eligible for the 2013 supplemental draft:

James Boyd, DE, UNLV
Nate Holloway, DT, UNLV
Toby Jackson, DE, USF
DeWayne Peace, WR, Houston
OJ Ross, WR, Purdue
Damond Smith, DB, South Alabama

No really great talents this year. However, Holloway is massive at 6'3" 365 lbs. Could be a NT in the NFL, not sure if he's talented enough though. DeWayne Peace was a decent WR for Houston. Anyone think we should spend a pick on any of these guys? I'd say pass.

The draft is Thursday (July 11th) at 1:00 pm EST.

I was thinking the same thing Mknight- Pass this year. 9 times out of 10 the supplemental draft doesn't put forth anyone special in the NFL anyways...

I think some of our UDFA's actually have more potential than these guys.

Since Shanahan has been in charge, we have been able to improve depth in addition to finding quality starters. No Thanks, no need for more bodies...

Keep the draft picks, since we'll be in the final year of the Griffin trade.

Yeah, keep the picks, and what happened with Jeremy Jarmon? Supplemental draft usually does not produce a heck of a lot of talent.

Would be more inclined to keep the picks.

switched defenses from a 4-3 to 3-4 from his rookie year to second year and he was coming off a torn acl from his rookie season. He was drafted as a 4-3 DE, the scheme switch and acl injury kept him from progressing. Not only did they switch schemes that offseason, but they couldn't decide where to play him. He spent most of the offseason trying to become an OLB, then towards the end of the offseason they asked him to play 3-4 DE and bulk up. The guys head must have been spinning Laughing
