In our new defensive scheme, which player is in the better position to excel?
This doesn't speak to who necessarily is the better player - all things being equal - or who is the leader. But rather, given the dynamics of this defense, which of these two can vault themselves into the greatness tier? _________________

Highlander. Yeah, I got it.
If I can choose only one...with both staying healthy for the remainder of their careers...I suppose I'd go with Carter. I think he can live up to the Derrick Brooks comparisons and be a definite Hall of Famer when all is said in done in this system.
Lee, however, I see as a guy who will be a multiple All-Pro, but not be a sure-fire HOF when he hangs them up. Add a couple of rings though and I could see him getting in. _________________

Whichever one can stay the healthiest.
It would be huge for the D if they can both stay healthy this season |

Honestly, this is the thing I'm most excited about for this year. These guys are tailor-made for this defense. If you had to twist my arm, I think I'd say Carter because of his unbelievable speed/size combo, but I think this particular defense is going to let these two guys become superstars. |

If they just stayed in the past, it would have been a superb movie. The parts in "present" day were terrible. |

The one that stays healthy all season. So, neither. _________________

While I love what Lee brings to this team, I'm going to have to go with Carter on this one. He is a freakish speciman in size, speed and talent that is really going to propell this Defense to a new level. How many LB'ers do you know that can run down the fastest WR's in this league from behind?
With him and Lee fully healthy, and as long as they can stay healthy, I am really excited to see what this duo can do for a full season! _________________ "Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyways" - John Wayne |

I was going to say this. I think they're both outstanding, young players, but both are extremely brittle. _________________
