"Everybody brings their own ish to the question imho. For me the question changes after our two undeniable superstars are tagged #1 and #2. Go back to last year's thread and Woodson was ranked way, way higher than he should have been just because he got love for his career and presence. That wasn't wrong, it was just career appreciation for a Hall of Famer.

For me, I sometimes cheat and get the beat going for a player I'd like to see get ranked higher than he might otherwise go. I agree with Bulaga winning the spot right now, but I'm pushing Datone out of the belief that he will make the entire defense better than it was last year.

Long story short, use your own rules, use different rules when you want, and have fun arguing your position."

Take a second to explain why you picked who you picked.

Just as a reminder I will run these polls for one day. If there still is not a clear winner I will run it longer. Vote away!

Shields is the best player left. He would launch his name into the top 10 discussion if he can have the same type of year this year as last year, just needs to stay healthy.

Tough decision, but I went with Burnett. We are pretty deep at CB. We are not a S though, and it is time for Morgan to step up and become a stud. Collins took that next step in his 4th year, and hopefully Burnett will too.

Looks like we have a tie as of now so I will have to let this run longer. Keep voting!

Burnett and Shields. It's a tossup. Both are on the brink of stardom.

I'd argue Jordy is probably around the 30th-40th best receiver in the NFL, maybe 50th.

I don't understand the people who voted Cobb over the outside WR's, and will say Hayward>>the other CB's, but won't vote for him because he's a nickel corner. Nickel corner and slot WR is a totally different position. Just because it's not outside doesn't make it not valuable. (still voted for Pickett, though)

It was tough to decide between Casey and Shields, but I ended up voting Casey.

When it comes to picking from the group of Williams, Shields, Hayward and House, I defer to the experts.

The Packers are paying the man 8.5M this season and made no effort to renegotiate or cut him.

Perry practically blew a gasket a few weeks back talking about Williams and saying the fans and media are nuts.

I voted for Williams.

Went with Shields because he's probably got more value for us than Hayward. Would be pretty worried with Davon on the outside starting at the current moment. That could easily change by pre-season though...
