Solid offseason by our new players.

Punching a guy in the head = attempted murder?

This is kind of a vaguely written article.

I was wondering the same thing.

Must've been one hell of a punch. If he's got that kind of power, then it'll be sad to see him not get a shot at making this team. But you gotta keep your head on straight, that's part of being a professional.

Here is another from PFT:

Looks like the dude he punched is in critical condition.

Pretty much the same article. The other one says he's in critical condition as well. But at least this one admits that the details are limited.

Say he punches him, the victim falls to the ground and hits his head. That can put him into a coma or kill him. It happens more than people realize. It's not the actual hit that does the damage, it's what happens afterwards because of it.

Yes, I understand that. There just aren't any details, so the story is what it is, not very detailed.

I guess he had a previous incident in 2011 while in college (assault and battery). He was offered a tryout, and he must have at least showed the Browns something since they signed him. Guy is already booked with $500,000 bail.

Quote:
The Browns issued the following statement this morning: "We are aware of the situation. This is a pending legal matter, and we will not comment."

They didn't comment, but they did cut him.

If you cut him, why would you comment? That certainly says more than enough.

He's no longer a Brown, never really was a Brown and really has no bearing on the team going forward. I see no reason for this thread to continue.
