A strong reason Russell Wilson won't have a sophomore slump.
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/6/27/4457672/russell-wilson-seahawks-2013-predictions
Quote: | One little-discussed factor to take into consideration when debating whether or not Wilson will suffer from the dreaded sophomore slump is that this is the first offseason in three years in which Wilson has had the same playbook and coordinator as the year prior. In other words, this is the first time in three years in which we'll get to see what Wilson can do with an entire offseason of study and collaboration with the same offensive coordinator, playbook, language, and terminology. |

Thanks imani, was busy there. Hopefully back now .
Always feels good when your favourite draft pick works out. Let's hope Wilson kicks on in his second season with the full offseason. _________________

I mean, that's pretty neat....
...but this is the cats pajamas.
BTW Swift, I posted another article about Winfield in one of the Seahawks Roster Ranking threads. He's a great player and I don't think there is a question our fans are underrating the impact he's going to have on this defense. He's literally just as effective as most starting WLBs in this league against the run and also plays lockdown D in nickel coverage. I hope we resign him after a strong 2013 season. _________________

Does anyone know anything about Michael Person? He's been hanging on as a backup LT/practice squad type for a couple years now, yet I've never read one thing about him. _________________

Admittedly imani, I didn't read the whole thing. It was crazy long and I stopped halfway through

Nope, that's pretty interesting to hear he's been on the team for years now. _________________

Close Call for Percy Harvin
http://www.nwcn.com/sports/seahawks/Seahawks-WR-Percy-Harvin-arrested-then-cleared-after-DUI-investigation-213430131.html
Quote: | Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin was pulled over on Interstate 405 today due to license plate and tinted window violations. In the course of the traffic stop, the officer suspected marijuana use, and arrested Harvin for investigation of DUI.
As first reported by 710 ESPN's Danny O'Neil, Harvin was transported to a Washington State Patrol station for further tests. A drug-evaluation expert concluded Harvin was not under the influence.
Harvin was released, and won't be charged with DUI. |

Small school prospect, was an LT in college but most projected him as an interior lineman because he was labeled as having short arms. He's a guy that has lasted this long because he works hard and is smart but he's physically limited to be anything more than a backup. Has experience playing all positions but his lack of quickness and athleticism limits his potential. The Seahawks were rumoured to have been heavily interested him as a late-round prospect in the draft so they probably have kept him around just to see whether or not they were right. All the scouting reports rave about his work ethic but that only takes you so far if you don't have the natural talent to back it up. With guys like Jared Smith, Ryan Seymour and Michael Bowie getting drafted I think Person faces a steep climb to make the roster |

Weird case with Percy. I doubt we ever hear all the facts on this one. _________________

Marshawn Lynch's DUI case got postponed again.
The league has said they won't take any action until after the case gets resolved in court. My concern is that it looks like the case will happen late 2013 or early 2014 which means he could miss time or late in the season. I doubt they would suspend him during the playoffs. Lynch is the best runner we have but I feel confident knowing Turbin, Michael and Ware all provide us with great depth. |

Doesn't look like he'll have a court case until 2014, and I'd be really surprised if they settled this during playoff time. I feel pretty comfortable saying this won't be an issue until the start of the 2014 season. _________________
