Brady has done well with scrubs before though. Amendola and Hawkins are solid plus they drafter Boyce and Dobson. Wouldn't shock me if they bring in Lloyd or Gaffney, perhaps even Branch.

We brought Gaffney in for a workout already.

Jerseys Finest mentioned something interesting on his Twitter feed. Any chance of us dangling Tamme as trade bait if we trust Julius Thomas as our 'move' TE? It would be a gamble for sure, but we might be able to get fantastic value for (essentially) an average talent.

He's not worth much. If you want to risk it he's worth at very most a 5th. It just doesnt make sense value wise. I know someone mentioned NE forum from here Tamme for a 3rd but no one is going to pay that for him.

The TE situation is still pretty good. We have Gronk mid season and until then we have Sudfield, who i know Rabbisson loves, Hoomanwanui, Ballard, and Daniel Fells. Its still a very deep spot on the team. WRs after Danny it kinda sucks and unproven.

Although New England may not offer it, I think Tamme can carry a 4th round tag.

I don't think he's worth more than a 5th tbh to any team.

Finished the first week of work in my new job. It's so awesome, the discounted Milano cookies are pretty much a godsend. And they have summer hours so you leave on Friday at one. So great

I wouldn't do that trade if they gave us an extra million bucks in salary money...maybe if they paid me, well then sure. But he is worth so much more to us than a 4th and even a 3rd I don't see it being worth it. In today's NFL you need a TE that can stretch the middle of the field. I just don't see Dressen being that guy and I think that's too big of a gamble relying on Julius Thomas for a full season plus playoffs.

Maybe he has a big year for us and we can get good value for him next year if Thomas finally learns how to play at an NFL level.

Thats the thing... Did anyone read what lomax said?

It was a completely hypothetical situation. Of course Tamme is valuable to this team but if the coaching staff feels comfortable with Thomas and is progression, why not try to get something for him? If Thomas can stretch the field (the reports from OTA's say he can) with the addition of Welker (for short routes and 3rd downs), arent those all of Tamme's strengths?

This lengthy article about CU and MacIntyre reads like a film summary of Remember the Titans, but it's good nonetheless:

I mean I guess it's possible that the coaches believe that Julius can stretch the field, and if he goes down with an injury which he most certainly could taking those vicious hits, Joel Dressen is good enough to pick up the slack, especially with the addition of Wes Welker. I would rather get a 3rd then a 4th for him though, and I guess I have a soft spot for him cuz I think he can be REALLY good with Manning and a complete TE, which I just don't see Julius Thomas being.

Me and AAA have discussed this via pm. I've got something coming. Should be up tonight. Hell, I might make the thread now while I'm on the train home.

I'm on my phone, so it may be different. But can you scale the avatar down to 80x80 pixels? Someone in the Sig/Avatar help forum can probably get this done for you.
