Definitely doesn't sound good. Destroyed his home security/surveillance system AND his cell phone. Shocked

The Pats are definitely going to have a hard time going TE heavy this season.

^^^
I think the Patriots are going to have a difficult season in general this season.

Hard to win games when it looks like you are going into the season without your top 5 receiving leaders from the previous season.

Posters in the Patriots forum are talking about trading for a TE.

Celek's name seems to have been mentioned the most. Their reasoning is that Chip Kelly isn't all too impressed with him.

What do you think we would give up Celek for?

EDIT: Nevermind, Billy started the thread for it.

Also, I was just looking at the list of remaining free agents. I wouldn't be too upset if we were able to sign Vonta Leach or Richard Seymour to short deals. Would probably take some extra money to bring those guys here though as I would assume that they want to play for contenders at this point.

We're not going to use a FB so why bring in Vonta Leach? And I'm optimistic about our DL depth.

The funny thing is, even though you destroy a cell phone, the records can still be acquired. He definitely seems like he has something to hide with all of his actions lately. Then you factor in all of this info about his transgressions from the past, and it seems like he could be in trouble real soon. Really a shame too, as he's a talented player on the field.

Jaxson DeVille made Florio look like an idiot. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Best part is that every time that Jaxson DeVille went at Florio about how worthless PFT is, Florio had no comeback or defense besides attacking something pointless about the mascot.

Silly Florio. PFT hasn't been relevant in years.

Now the news is that the warrant apparently never was issued...

Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur says Matt Barkley is getting the hang of the Eagles' verbiage
Quote:
Said Shurmur: "A lot of the way we communicate is very different than what he did in college, but he's been able to do very nicely here in the first few weeks." Shurmur also noted that Barkley "did all the things playing quarterback that you need to see at [the NFL] level" when at USC

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5284/pat-chung
Quote:
Pat Chung will enter training camp as the Eagles' favorite to start at strong safety. He'll face competition from rookie Earl Wolff
Quote:
Philly's front seven doesn't project as particularly stout, and Chung will be an "in the box" safety, playing close to the line of scrimmage. Chung racked up 96 tackles with New England in 2010

Even without the TE's, no.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with him and Ballard, that's for sure.

Yeah, probably not, but I think I'd like to put down a few bucks on it just in case.

Quote:
One of the more compelling Eagles stats I found was 685:373. That was Kelly's astonishingly lopsided run-to-pass ratio with the 2012 Oregon Ducks. While his NFL offense is unlikely to be identical, it's more confirmation Kelly is a believer in the run game as his foundation.

So excited for next season.
