Hey guys this forum needs more activity and discussion... come on I'm excited as always for this upcoming season Smile. Anyways in your opinion which rookies do you think can contribute immediately? I pretty much expect Joeckel to be contributing as at least a solid starter right away and developing into a great tackle soon. I pretty much suspect that we will notice the difference with him on our line as opposed to not. But what is your opinion as Cyprien as a starter? Looks to me like Gus had a similar situation in Seattle with young and fast defensive talent... I'm curious to see what he can utilize from our roster.

What are your thoughts on all of this and what veteran or older players might have a breakout season? What about Andre Branch for example? I expected more from him but I suspect he might breakout this season.

Cecil had his coming out party last year, but this year I'm expecting really special things from him. Like 1,200+ yards, 7+TDs

Obviously Joeckel should thrive at RT once he settles in to mirroring himself. Cyprien is going to be something great at Safety. Gratz should be a starter either to start the season or by season's end. Ace and Shoelace should bring some nice wrinkles to the offense.

I'm not really sure I see any other vets breaking out. I could see Will Rackley really settling in as a force at LG, but other than that, I'm not sure. Alualu is a better fit at end in this type of system we'll be running, and provided he stays healthy, he should be able to play well. He really struggled, very badly, the first half of last season, but he got healthy as the season wore on and quietly had a strong second half of the year. I'm hoping Branch or Mincey (if he stays around) break out, but I won't hold my breath.

Andre Branch seems like a great fit for the LEO. I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks out in a big way.

Branch has got to be one of our candidates, Gabbert is in a make or break year so maybe he qualifies, not that we expect it

You're welcome, Pwny. It took me so long to get all those links.

Does it count if i think Cyprien is gonna have a huge breakout year not this coming season, but the following one?

By that time, he ought to be adjusted to the NFL pace and speed, etc., and more importantly...hopefully Caldwell will have filled out the CB spots more extensively, and shaped the team around Cyprien as the guy who is going to be a key piece in our defense doing what the Seahawks defense has accomplished.

As for this year...idk. I guess as iPwn mentioned, Ace and Shoelace are probably good candidates to notch a few spectacular plays at least.

Cool

Gotta stay healthy though and be consistent, although the 2nd part is only partly his fault

this is completely out of left field but I will say Taylor Price. My guess he makes the team, gets 20 receptions maybe a touchdown or two. I will also say Blaine Gabbert makes the pro bowl if he doesn't it will be all politics.

I'd call that overachieving for the guy.

He'd be breaking out from "shouldn't be on the roster" to "pretty decent fifth option"?
