Not sure if anyone has made this comparison before but I'm sure there is new members since then to provide input if so. Who would you rather have going forward?

Assuming that Russell Wilson's work ethic transfers over to the rest of the offense, then Okung.

I have to go Okung. It took Staley quite some time to get to the point he is, and yes, he's playing very well now. Okung is 3 years removed from being drafted (2010), headed into his 4th season, he's already playing at a pretty high level, and I don't think he's reached his best yet.

Going forward, probably Okung... but it's very close, Staley is just as good really.

Staley is the better run blocker, but Okung isn't far behind

Okung is a far superior pass blocker.

I'll take Okung

Pass blocking
Okung > Staley

Run blocking
Staley > Okung

So imo
Okung > Staley

I don't think either is a top 5 Left Tackle or Top 20 O-Lineman in this league... Well maybe Staley at like 19th or 20th so I guess I'd take Staley. I need more than 1 full season out of Okung to believe in him and even then I think Wilson's scrambling helps him tremendously.

Trust in the 4Bs: Ben, Bell, Blount and Brown!

Okung was playing at an elite level before this year. Okung was just able to stay healthy for 16 games for once.

I take Okung. The only definite edge that Staley has on Okung is blocking on the move. Okung still has some upside where as I think that Staley has peaked.

Staley is not getting enough love in the comments, IMO. He isn't that bad of a pass blocker.

Staley is a Pro Bowl caliber player.

I'll take him for the next year or two.

Really?? Cause Staley graded out as the number 1 left tackle this year with Okung not too far behind. Okung is a better pass protector and Staley is a better run blocker, but staley is considered better overall. Id really love to see your five tackles better than them with explanation.
