I think I just became a Jets fan... I love Kellen.

I remember when we signed Laron Landry, there was no way he was healthy or can last. Yet he played all 16 games and made the probowl, got himself a large contract elsewhere.

Winslow apparently looked good at minicamp, we'll see how he holds up but its worth a shot considering its a area of need for us.

I don't think their situation is anything alike.

Winslow still lacks any seperation.

His knees have just been through too much.

He will probably be put on the Laron practice schedule, which was 2 days on 1 day off or something to that effect. No doubt there are health concerns, but from all accounts he is healthy now and there was no setbacks from all the running and cutting he did. Now, once he gets hit by linebackers and safeties, that will be the real test.

I'm not worried about him staying healthy.

The problem is that he used to have WR type speed in college.

After he had a bunch of knee injuries, he lost that speed and has been unable to consistenly get seperation.

Not saying it's a bad signing, just saying he isn't a huge threat like he once was.

Oh well no doubt, he is older too so his speed wouldn't have been as good as it was. I'm not expecting him to tear it up at all, but he could be a solid option for us there. I rather have him and Cumberland than just Cumberland.

After everything his dad gave my team I am still rooting for K2. Yes, it's unlikely he will be as good as he once was but I think there is still some value in his tank. Young QB's best friend is his TE so lets up Smith and K2 develop some chemistry.

He practiced less than that at his best with the Bucs.
