Doesnt look good for Evan Rodriguez

Why, cause we cut him?

GoGriese posted that before Evan was cut, and he was commenting when the Bears signed Fiammetta. The OP's first post was edited to include the cut after it was released.

Don't sleep on Harvey Unga! He caught a ton of passes in a BYUsystem that didn't really look to throw to him a lot as the first read. He has great hands and some pretty incredible open-field moves/burst for a back his size.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Oh me too, but we've kept him around four seasons now and through two personal leaves for some reason. I went to BYU, dad too and have been watching their games my whole life. Unga is (was?? who knows now ha) a BEASt that can catch D's in a mismatch (or beat a decent D matchup) and take it to the dam house!! His receiving skills are as good as Forte's, he is very shifty and can move his body great in the open field ......or he can just run through DBs and a lot of linebackers ha!

I see Treastman looking to take advantage of every offensive weapon and being innovate. Our O-line will be much improved and the plays will develop much quicker.

We're going to see Offense this year that this organization has never experienced before ........and then some!! I really don't see a need for a traditional FB. Bush could even do a lot of what I am describing from Unga.

Without a doubt he will. It's gunna sting in a couple years, although, it does speak volumes that Emery was willing to give up on one of his first ever draft picks as Bears GM based on Off-field issues in which he's proven aren't a huge concern to him when signing/evaluating players. Rodriguez must not be in a good place mentally right now for Phil to make that devision.
I have big hopes for Tony Fiammetta, I was high on him coming out of Syracuse several years back.

Ah, Miami, the other place he was previously arrested. This will end well. Laughing
