Every team in the NFL has signed at least one rookie... Except for the rams. A few have signed all of them. There's a reason for this though. Fisher wants to simply teach the rookies how to handle the money and is helping them out so they don't go out and blow it all. Very smart thing to do. I thought it was because of the cap room but I guess not

We did this exact same thing last year, we just had a headliner example in Janoris as to why it was being done.

Its a very smart move by the organization, especially if you are continuously comfortable with taking chances on guys with character concerns, you make this a organizational policy so none of those guys feel like they are singled out (or worse off, you are accused of doing that)

Wonder why all 31 teams haven't done it yet. If they want to keep their players to keep their money secure without any concerns, then doing some sort of FIN100 class will help a lot. T.O. and JaMarcus Russell come to mind when it comes to people who blow out all their money.

This isn't just a smart move by Fisher but it is a very thoughtful move. It is probably one of the many reasons players love to play for him. Who wouldn't like to walk into a situation and gain a mentor that really cares about your future.
