Isn't he the guy that scored the Bucs' first-ever KR touchdown?

Like this signing. Not saying he makes team but gotta love having competition in non-existent return game.

This offseason they have really looked to turn the table on field advantage.

Drafting the punter and working on special teams and return game.

If Detroit can somehow shift the field a bit more in their favor this offense would operate way more effective IMO. Shorter field and keep defense rested

Yep.

He also had a KR and PR touchdowns last season for the Chargers despite limited chances.

Seems just like last season, the Lion's are trying to buy a special teams. With all of these high draft picks we've had over the years, you'd think we could've drafted a good special teams by now Confused

Did you watch him play at all personally? I'm just curious how you thought he looked, if you did?

He's not really an explosive, fast player but has good quickness and was giving some playing time with the Chargers in the slot on offense. He's a solid returner, not much more than that.

There is a reason he's on his 6th NFL team though, he isn't much of a player, if he can't earn a spot on special teams he offers little else but back-up slot receiver.

I Googled him and saw a 4.64 40 time. I was hoping he'd be a little faster, but I don't expect him to really make the roster. I just want the Lions to put someone back there that's super explosive. They've been a pretty big non factor on KR/PR for a long time now since Eddie Drummond slowed down his career.

Reggie Bush said he'd return punts if asked to, but I kind of hope he doesn't expose himself too much.

Thanks for your feedback.

I don't expect him to stay with the team but I hope for the best and like most are preaching don't mind the extra bodies from competition early.
