Two claimed off waivers: OT Kevin Haslam by Patriots (from Chargers). MLB Ryan Rau by Panthers (from Browns).

What's silly is how many threads we have about random players that likely won't even make the team. We should have an offseason thread that gets updated regularly instead of having a new thread for every micro transaction we make.

We have/had one in the Cowboys forum...keeps things from getting cluttered.

We used to have those, but it got so much action [posts] that Webby came and locked it and said that he wants as many threads as possible about moves instead of one giant thread.

I put a lot of work in that one too, it was really too bad Crying or Very sad Laughing

I like it that way. It makes it possible to peruse the titles to know what's going on, rather than read the threads in their entirety. I can understand what you find annoying about them.

A point of clarification - Kevin Haslam is NOT a rookie out of Rutgers, he is a former Chargers' player who played football at Rutgers. He started at LT for 3 games last season on SD's overmatched line. Makes him the second "former starter" from that team that we've picked up for nothing.

Webby doesn't like catch-all threads. There was a whole controversy about it a few years ago. It's easier for new posters to interact with the forum in individualized threads rather than catch-all threads.
