Great vid as always atljbo

Its funny how so many people are writing him off as a one year wonder already, while others think he's a superstar sleeper.

I for one very much like the idea of him staying in the nickel for us for years to come

I don't think people are writing him off as a one year wonder. I just think most people are acknowledging the possibility. He played very good last season, but let's see if he can do it again. Cornerback, in particular, is a position where you see a lot of players play really good one year and then drop off the face of the earth the next.

Great video. I forgot just how many good plays he made last year.

I have to say we are very fortunate to have him. It's crazy how he basically came out of nowhere. Went from 7th rounder to lining up against basically most of the top receivers.

so my question is, the Falcons went 1st and 2nd round CBs. I get you're in the same division as Drew Brees and Cam Newton, but 1st and 2nd round CBs remind me of the Steelers going 1st and 2nd round OL last season. We were in desperate need of OL.

is McClain the 'real mccoy'?

the main reason why is because Asante is 32 and anyone who watched the falcons last yr realized samuel got banged up a lot.. his shoulder mainly.. and this isn't a knack on samuel. For a 7th rounder we got a guy (Samuel) who came up with 5 picks and won the game for us against oakland, set the tone for the shut out against NYG and is a great presence on the field. My guess is it's going to be Samuel/Trufant/McClain and Alford coming in on Dime looks or if someone gets hurt. Alford will also secure the PR/KR job as well. Then maybe as soon as next season it will be Trufant/Alford/McClain after Samuel retires.
