I've read that he will start next to Terrance Knighton. I know it doesn't matter because of our packages and rotations. It still surprises me though.

Interesting. Big Vick's respected and has played well ever since becoming a Bronco. Suprising that he'd be pushed aside just like that by a FA signee and a rookie.

Makes sense. Elway and Fox have said from day one they want immediate starters out of their first picks. Fox usually got his first rounders right in Carolina, Elways done good so far. I'd expect Sly to contribute immediately, even if he's learning as he's going.

The goal of the DT's is likely more run stuffing this year. Sly's penetration and get off will improve that area, and sounds like he's solid vs the run. It will be fun to see what Von can do with such an enormous line in front of him, these boys can definitely eat up some blocks.
