If you know anything about Vegas, than you know that they usually know more than the rest of us and the house never loses.

With this in mind, Redskins fans should take comfort in knowing that the burgundy and gold will be in position to win the NFC East at seasonís end. According to Covers.com, the Atlantis Casino sports book in Reno has released the first NFL regular Over/Under betting lines for the season. The early line on the Redskins has been set at nine wins, a total shared by the New York Giants. Rounding out the division are the Cowboys at 8.5 and the Eagles 6.5.

Yeah. It does, man I remember that hit they are talking about in the story. Griffin got crushed. He's so tough though that he finished.

I read today that Nicks is trying to get a new contract from the Giants and I remember they are talking to Cruz but haven't locked him down long term yet either. Watch out for those to be problems for the Giants as they head into the season. If they have disgruntled wrs, that usually means an inconsistent passing game.

"We've all talked about our contracts and the things we've been through, like what's going on with [wide receiver Victor] Cruz," the source said, referring to Cruz's refusal to sign a one-year restricted free agent tender for $2.879 million. "When you talk about money and what you think the team is doing right or wrong, sometimes feelings get really hard."

Nicks, the team's first-round draft pick in 2009, is going into the final season of his five-year contract.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin had hard feelings about Nicks' absence Wednesday because, apparently, he had not been informed about why Nicks was not in attendance. Coughlin said he had expected Nicks to be there.

Just ask the Steelers who had problems with Mike Wallace last year after they couldn't pay him 10 million a year and Wallace's effort and focus were in question all year long.
