Wait? If he's been "battling" chronic back pain since last season, are we allowed to be pissed off at him for all the drunken wrestling he's been doing the past few months?

He should absolutely have a blast, but if there is something wrong with a disc in his back, then the crap he is doing in the offseason like DDTing his brother surely isn't helping.

Only Gronk...

Quote:
Rob Gronkowski Hitting Vegas Before 4th Arm Surgery & Possible Back Procedure

Jumpseat.me, a jet-sharing service, circulated an email late Friday afternoon offering four seats on the private plane that will take Gronkowski a teammate to Nevada.

“This Saturday night, share a cabin and fly privately with Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman from Boston to Las Vegas for a last-minute get away before Gronk goes for yet another surgery,” the email explains. “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend time with a living Patriots legend. Gronk is offering 4 seats in the cabin.”

Those same idiots used that picture in February.

yeah, he looked like he was having difficulty bending last year before he broke his arm. I'd chalked it up to the hip he was struggling with, but if it's a recurring back issue, it's definite cause for concern.
Still, good news about the arm.

Apparently it's a different injury than the one in college.

I'm still worried about the need for a new plate. The purpose of a plate is to help hold the bone in place while it heals. The bone should have been healed long ago. What's the reason for the plate at this point. Also the second break was a result of the plate being there, your bones are flexible the plate isn't so there is an increased risked of a break at the ends of the plate. So if they felt they needed a plate at this point does that mean that the bone still hasn't healed?
