Finally, we signed someone:

Kemal Ishmael - LB - Falcons

Falcons signed seventh-round S Kemal Ishmael to a four-year contract.
Ishmael (5-foot-11, 206) produced on the field while at Central Florida, but he isn't a great athlete. At the Knights' Pro Day, he ran a 4.63 forty, posted a 35 1/2" vertical, and did 21 bench press reps. Ishmael will compete for a special teams or practice squad role this season.

4 year deal as 5/16/2013. Originally listed as a safety, but now a linebacker according to RotoWorld. Not sure what the final result will be.

Ya if anything Motta will play LB, Ishmael is more of a pure DB

Ishmael is a FS... how they got LB is beyond me.

While I was out of town, 3 others signed on 5/17: (news via rotoworld)

Falcons agreed to terms with No. 244 overall pick S Zeke Motta on a four-year contract.

One of the last 11 picks of the draft, Motta is a well-built 6-foot-2, 213 pounds, but lumbered to a 4.83 in the 40-yard dash. Stiff hipped, he's a pure run stopper. Motta will have to pay his dues on special teams before appearing on defense if he makes the 53-man roster. May 17 - 10:04 AM

Falcons signed fourth-round DE Malliciah Goodman to a four-year contract.

A 6-foot-4, 276-pound power end out of Clemson, Goodman projects as a strong-side run defender on early downs who could potentially assist Atlanta's interior pass rush in nickel formations. He'll open training camp competing with Kroy Biermann for snaps across from Osi Umenyiora. Goodman is unlikely to start as a rookie, but he has upside to be a first-team left end down the road. May 17 - 4:31 PM

Falcons signed fifth-round DE Stansly Maponga to a four-year contract.

The latest mid- to late-round speed rusher stab by GM Thomas Dimitroff, Maponga will hope to pan out better than Lawrence Sidbury, Cliff Matthews, and Jonathan Massaquoi. Dimitroff did hit on one, stealing Kroy Biermann out of Montana in the 2009 fifth round. Maponga will initially compete for special teams snaps. He only registered four sacks as a TCU senior, playing hurt. May 17 - 4:36 PM

Excited to see what our two rookie corners and defensive ends can do.

Falcons agreed to terms with No. 133 overall pick TE Levine Toilolo on a four-year contract.

Toilolo checks in at a towering 6-foot-8, 260 pounds, but is expected to be used primarily as a blocker as a rookie. Coach Mike Smith views him as a potential option in the red zone, however. Toilolo isn't expected to be Tony Gonzalez's long-term replacement as a seam-stretching tight end.

Signed a four-year, $2.46 million contract. Includes a $300,584 signing bonus.

I'm guessing were waiting to sign Alford and Trufant until June 1st?
