The best movie I've seen in the last few years is Oldboy. If you are ok with subtitles, I highly recommend it.

Spike Lee is doing an American remake starring Josh Brolin. No way it will be as good.

I don't believe my definition of great literature would necessarily exclude Shakespeare's tragedies... There is much to learn from those without so much of the unnecessary 'detailed debauchery' that other stories such as Gatsby just "had" to include.
I rather liked Brannaugh's Hamlet; really liked what I saw of Tennant's Hamlet and even Mel Gibson's Hamlet wasn't all bad. Hamlet is a great story for showing how revenge can ruin a person. MacBeth, now that I can do without...Intriguing, but reading/watching it once is enough.
Oedipus Rex(not Shakes, I know!)? Well, now that is just...eh, not gonna go there. Laughing
Big fan of Shakespeare, especially after getting to play Sebastian in "Twelfth Night" in college. That was the toughest role I had every played. I was used to playing comedic parts (such as that of Clitandre in Moliere's "The Misanthrope") and even though that was one of Shakespeare's comedies, if you know anything about "Twelfth Night", then you probably know that Sebastian doesn't have much of a sense of humor. Laughing

Chrissooner49er If you are in to Shakespeare, if you haven't seen the film version of The Tempest with Helen Mirren, you should. It's really good.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000204566/article/alex-smith-runs-pistol-at-kansas-city-chiefs-workouts

Quote:
Alex Smith can leave San Francisco, but he can't get away from the Pistol.

Adam Teicher of The Kansas City Star reported Monday that the former 49ers quarterback was spotted running a handful of plays out of the trendy formation during Chiefs workouts on Thursday.

The Chiefs recently hired former Nevada coach Chris Ault, the Pistol's creator, to help their offense run -- and their defense stop -- plays out of the formation.

Pretty interesting stuff here. I decided to post it because it has to do with the pistol, but also because we're tied to the Chiefs next year with their draft pick. I really wanted to bring Ault in as a consultant, but it seems like we weren't interested.

I could see Charles doing extremely well in the pistol, Alex wouldn't be a huge threat to run, but he's certainly more mobile than half the QB's in the league.

I was #1 about a decade ago. Dulled emotions and physical ailments have changed all of that. Now, I'm a special blend of #17 and #11.
