Yikes. Now it's either throw Geno to the wolves or start Sanchez or McCelroy...neither are great options, but I'd go with the former.

Geno's their future at QB. He'll likely win the job anyway.


I think he'll struggle at first obviously. Not much to work with.

If he starts 15-16 games I see him finishing with something like:

60% comp
3080 yds
15 tds
10 ints

Sucks for the Jets and for Geno, hopefully they don't throw him to the wolves and let him develop at his own pace but, they could very well ruin him.

Garrard was always a good QB, but when your body starts giving up on you like his is, it's time to hang em up.
