With Ryan Moats on board in Philly, I was just wondering how good you guys think he really is. _________________

Ryan Moats, if he could catch the ball would have been another LaDanian Tomlinson...except without so much bulk...running styles are very similar _________________

On ESPN they were saying he's a small powerback because he runs extremely hard into safeties and linebacks at awkward angles and breaks alot of tackles because of it. All in all I can't really say if I'm happy or sad but I need to see him play first. _________________

Ryan Moats is the best pick the eagles made. He is very underrated and I think hes going to be a star for the eagles in years to come. He is alot like tomlinson, minus the recieving part. But, I think with him on the eagles, his receiving skills will get MUCH better because thats all the eagles do. Moats is going to be a stud. _________________

| I heard Moats was recruited out of college for his receiving skills, but then LATech never really took advantage of them. Now he might not be at a Westbrook or Tomlinson level. But I think he can catch or the Eagles wouldn't have drafted him. |

Moats is a very good receiver out of the back field.
Is AR thinking this ?????
Use both West 60% & Moats 40% [running 25 times & passing 12 times]
This would give West about 22 touches and Moats 15
Keeping them both fresh and hopefully injury free.
The other advantage is the offense does not have to change as
one replaces the other since they are the same type back.
And still carry a bigger backup back as a change of pace type.
Another advantage is do not have all your eggs in one basket.
If one goes down by injury or holdout offense just keeps on going. |

I just have a feeling Moats is a future replacement for Westbrook. _________________

I guess the only knock ive heard on him is his tendency to fumble, Im not too sure what's the actual statistics but perhaps someone is willing to look it up? and btw it seems that a lot of people are forgetting buckhalter |

everyone is talking about moats and westy. why does nobody meantion buckhalter. if he stays injury free, he can be a stud.
westy and buck will share the carries. moats will take only a small part this year |

People forget about Buckhalter because he is way too injury proned. Can't invest in a guy that is most likely going down with an injury. _________________
