COACHING STAFF
HC: Sean Peyton
OC: Mike Solari
DC: Gus Bradley

IDEA BEHIND THE COACHING STAFF
Quote:
Idea behind the HC: Sean Peyton is one of the best offensive minded HCs in the NFL. Him and Drew Brees have had one of the best offenses in the league for the past couple years. You think a Sean Peyton offense couldnt get any better, why not give him the best QB in the league in Tom Brady. A Tom Brady Sean Peyton could be deadly
Idea behind the OC: need for a true offensive OC because Sean Peyton is calling the plays. We went after the best offensive line coach in the league and that is Mike Solari of San Fran. He built some of those great OLs in KC in the 90s/2000s and has made the 49ers into the best offensive line group in the league. He also has experience as a really OC, so he fits perfectly with this idea.
Idea behind the DC: We wanted the best 4/3 coach and the past couple years its been Gus Bradly. He drafted talent he is use too and we draft players that fit his scheme the best.

OFFENSE
QB: Tom Brady
RB: Darren Sproles
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Eric Decker
WR: DeSean Jackson
TE: Vernon Davis
LT: Duane Brown
LG: Peter Konz (C/G)
C: Chris Myer
RG: Sam Baker (T)
RT: Nate Solder

BENCH:
QB: Andy Dalton
RB: Trent Richardson
FB: Henry Hynoski
FB/TE: James Casey
TE: Delanie Walker
WR: Ty Hilton
WR: Sidney Rice
WR: Andre Roberts
RG: Brandon Moore (DNP)
LG: Jonathan Cooper (IR)

IDEA BEHIND THE OFFENSE
Quote:

Idea behind the QB:Tom Brady is one of the best QBs in the league, nuff said.
Idea behind the RB: When running the ball TRich could be extremely dangerous with Hynoski opening up running holes on a 5-6 man fronts, when passing the ball TRich and Sproles are great out of the backfield catching the ball. Also went after FBs like James Casey who can play a legit H-Back role running the ball, catching the all, and blocking once and awhile. Reminds me of a poor mans Aaron Herndez.
Idea behind the WR: Andre Johnson is one of the most consistent WRs in the league and has never played with a great QB. Tom Brady and AJ should be amazing! Eric Decker is a great go to guy! He could be a younger and bigger Wes Welker for Tom Brady. Jackson is just an all-around playmaker. He could be special playing with a legit QB for once. Ty Hilton, Sidney Rice, and Andre Roberts build great depth. Rice is great when he has a QB playing well, Ty Hilton looks extremely promising and Roberts can be one hell of a playmaker when he gets the ball in his hands.
Idea behind the TE: Vernon Davis is the most talented TE in the league. Brady and Gronk have been amazing bu Gronk doesnt have the raw talent Davis has. Davis has never played with a great QB but has looking amazing at times. Give Brady a TE like Davis and magic should happen and Peyton knows how to use an offensive weapon (Jimmy Graham). Walker is a great back up TE and is use to playing behind Davis and Casey gives us a great 3rd TE if injuries happen. Def have the ability to use 3 TE sets and still move the ball!
Idea behind the OL: Brown is the best all around LT in the league, Jonathan Cooper was the first guard taken, could be a stud playing b/w Brown and Myer, Chris Myer is one of the best centers in the league and is the best pass blocking C in the league. Brandon Moore is a very solid RG, Nate Solder did a decent job as the LT but with his size and ability he would make a better RT. He was a decent pass blocking LT but should be one of the best pass blocking RT. The run blocking could be questions because we have a mix of ZBS linemen (Brown and Meyer) and MBS linemen (Moore and Solder) and unknown (Cooper) but we took Solari to be our OC so he could work his magic and make our offensive line beast at all aspects. This would be the best overall talented linemen he has ever got to work with [/b]

DEFENSE
DE: Charles Johnson
DE: Greg Hardy
DT: Jurrell Casey
DT: Carlos Dunlap
Sam: Thomas Davis
Will: Vontaze Burfict
Mike: James Laurinaitis
DB: Joe Haden
DB: Devin McCourty
SS: Kam Chancellor
FS: Malcom Jenkins

BENCH:
DT: Mike Martin
DE/DT: Will Smith
DE/OLB: Brooks Reed
DT: Terrence Cody
Sam: KJ Wright
Mike: Colin McCarthy
Will: Wesley Woodyard
DB: Chris Harris Jr
S: Major Wright
DB: Janoris Jenkins

IDEA BEHIND THE DEFENSE
Quote:

Idea behind the DL: Hardy and Johnson we the best DE pass rushing duo in the league in the NFL last year. No question if they can play together or if one can play one side or another. Our DEs have a track record and its as the best DE duo in the NFL last year with 20+ sacks b/w them. Marin and Casey were a solid run stuff duo. they struggled at pass rushing but were good at the run. We wanted our DTs to be pure run stuffers so that doesnt bother use. To improve the run defense even more in the middle, we took the biggest DT in the league in Cody. Cody is pretty damn good at clogging the middle when he plays the NT for the Ravens and allows them to move Ngata to DE. I like the depth with Dunlap and Will Smith who can be pass rushers as DTs on passing downs and run stuffers at DE in running sitatuons. Brooks Reed can be our pure pass rusher when needed to be from the DE postions, his natural position
Idea behind the LB: Weakness for our starting LBs is stopping the run but with our offense, opposing offenses will need to pass to keep up with us. Laurinaitis is a solid all around Mike LB but Wright and Woodyard are great coverage OLBs. If the run is truly killing the LBs our back up OLB Burfict can come in and start punishing RBs Davis and McCarthy are solid all around back ups.
Idea behind the Secondary: Joe Haden is a top5 DB in the league and Chris Harris Jr is one of better DBs in the league. Jr surprised a lot of ppl last year with his ability. Kam Chancellor and Devin McCourty are two safeties that compliment each other greatly. Chancellor can be an enforcer and McCourty can play the center field being a ball hawk. The depth for the Secondary is having 3 very good players. Jenkins can play DB or S, Wright can play either safety position, and Jenkins is just an all around really good DB

DB: Joe Haden
DB: Chris Harris Jr
SS: Kam Chancellor
FS: Devin McCourty
DB/S: Malcom Jenkins
S: Major Wright
DB: Janoris Jenkins

SPECIAL TEAM
P: Andy Lee
K: Dan Bailey
LS: Jake Mcquaide
PR: DeSean Jackson, Sproles, Decker
KR: Devin McCourty, Sproles, Andre Roberts

IDEA BEHIND THE SPECIAL TEAMS
Quote:

Idea behind the P:Andy Lee one of the best punters in the league, nuff said.
Idea behind the K: Bailey didnt miss a kick from 20-49 yards. Those are the only kid of kicks he will attempt for this offense, so he is going to be money.
Idea behind the LS:Mcquaide is a decent LS, you dont hear about him so he must be ok lol.
Idea behind the returners:Jackson, McCourty, Sproles, Decker, and Roberts all would make a solid group of returners

About a third of the way through the season and I wanted to take a look back.

Obviously having Peyton is just about as good as it gets.

Our running game is struggling.

WR's are so-so

Oline is OK but Schwartz has struggled and Nicks caught Ebola.

Defense is sick nasty though.
